Lucid announces Gravity SUV at $79k, orders opening on November 7
On October 29, 2024, Lucid announced Gravity electric SUV in the US and confirmed its availability for early next month. Lucid has been preparing this new SUV since last year with new upgrades over the Lucid Air sedan.
The company will open orders on November 7, 2024, at 9:00 am Pacific Time for the Grand Touring trim at $94,900. This version will have more than 800 horsepower and over 400 miles of range.
The Grand Touring production will start later this year. On the other hand, the company plans to introduce the Touring version at $79,000 in late 2025.
Lucid will launch configurations on the official website and existing Air sedan owners will be prioritized for Gravity’s orders.
The EV maker has designed the new SUV with 120 cubic feet of total cargo space including the frunk. There’s also an option for a drunk seat to house two adults in park mode.
Underneath, this EV is using electric powertrain technology with Lucid’s in-house electric motors. The driving range comes from the 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring.
The car also has a three-chamber air suspension, which adapts according to the terrain for smooth ride and better handling.
