Tesla CEO, Elon Musk said his company’s mass flux is around 4 million tons of complex manufactured goods. This is a good production output from the electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer as it continues to increase production.

Mass flux is a scientific term to measure the mass flow rate of a substance in kilograms per second. However, in Tesla’s context, this term refers to product manufacturing at a very high rate.

The 4 million tons is a massive amount of materials used in producing various products including EVs, batteries, and solar panels. These products require a major supply of raw materials, components, and assembly.

However, Musk has not shared any details about the timeline of which this mass flux has been recorded.

On the other hand, the mass flux shows Tesla’s production capacity and ability to produce high-quantity products. The supply chain materials also create a major economy around manufacturing.
