Soon after reaching the launch pad, SpaceX will conduct different tests including tank pressurization, propellant load, and static fire to ignite its Raptor engines.

The booster has 33 Raptor engines featuring sub-cooled liquid methane and liquid oxygen. It has 3,400 tons of propellant capacity and generates 7,590 tf of thrust during liftoff.

Super Heavy is the powerhouse of the integrated flight system. It is the first stage that pushes the spacecraft to orbit, after hot-staging, the booster returns to the launch site.

With Flight 5, SpaceX caught the booster with the launch tower’s robotic arms. It was the first catch attempt and the company nailed it.

It is preparing for the Starship Flight Test 6 and already fired the upper stage last month. Now, it can make new improvements to the vehicle design based on the data received from the last test.
