Perplexity launches Internal Knowledge Search and Space features

Perplexity has launched a new internal Knowledge Search feature for enterprise customers.

“We want to give our users even more flexibility and control over the types of sources they prompt, which is why we’re excited to introduce internal knowledge Search and Spaces.” wrote Perplexity.

This new feature allows you to search internal files alongside the web. It is coming to Perplexity Pro and Enterprise Pro users.

You can now search public web content and your internal knowledge bases. It provides access and fetches information from sources online.

Enterprise Pro customers will get early access to Internal Knowledge Search. These are a few use cases for this new feature:

  • Financial services firms can conduct internal research, call notes, and new industry news.
  • Sales and business development teams can improve the RFP process with past materials and the latest insights from the web
  • HR can help employees find answers with existing files

Spaces

It will allow you to invite collaborators such as colleagues or friends, connect internal files, and customize the AI assistant by choosing an AI model and setting specific instructions for how it should respond.

It gives you more control over research and files to keep the conversation secure and maintain maximum privacy.

Perplexity will also add third-party data integrations with Crunchbase and FactSet for Enterprise Pro customers based on their subscription to these services.
