SpaceX has launched a new web-based game called “Starship The Game”. Players can launch the Starship and catch the booster when it returns to Earth and collect points to create a score.

The company is hosting this game online on the SpaceX website and you can access it here. The theme is simple, launch the Starship to orbit and catch the super heavy booster on the launch tower.

The controls are simple ASDW or arrow bar to move the rocket and spacebar to fire engines. You will have to fire landing burn (keep hold) with Spacebar as well. The game also has a difficulty mode including easy, medium, hard, and ludicrous.

Once on the game screen, you will see the game audio toggle on the top left, high score on the top center, and a menu option on the top right.

The left and right sides of the screen have two bars for altitude and propellant (fuel).

How to launch?

Check the intensity meter in the middle of the game. The higher the intensity meter, the higher you can launch the Starship. Press Space or the up button on the bottom right to launch the Starship.

After launch, the second stage will separate and return to the launch pad after a flip maneuver.

Intensity is important, it will allow you to go further in the space and collect items to increase your score. However, you will have to avoid spaceships and aliens. Higher difficulty will allow you to speed up the launch more than normal.

You will have to press the spacebar or the arrow button to fire the engines and decrease the landing speed to land the rocket on the launch tower’s arms.

Furthermore, you have to maintain trajectory while the booster descends to the landing zone. The propellant will run out if you don’t fire the engine efficiently while landing.

You can play the SpaceX Starship Game and experience the launch at your own pace.
