Tesla Cybercab arrived late at event due to a visitor’s medical emergency
Tesla has unveiled its Cybercab and Robovan autonomous driving vehicles at an event at Warner Brothers Studios in Los Angeles California. The in-person and live stream of the unveiling was set for 7 pm PT but the start was delayed due to an unfortunate incident. Elon Musk, Tesla CEO confirmed that a person in the crowd had a medical emergency.
Although, he didn’t reveal anything specific about the person but shared that the person is taken care of with medical assistance.
A video emerged via @teslaownersSV showed the Burbank fire department officials assisting the person in need. On the other hand, a group of Tesla officials created room for air as the venue was filled with visitors.

People attending the event also noticed the fire department’s vehicles at the event but they reportedly didn’t carry along with them.
Firetruck and ambulance here at the We, Robot event. No one got carried away so looks like the guest is ok. Elon should be soon probably just waiting for the emergency services to leave. pic.twitter.com/VW0pPDGOYq

There’s no revelation about what happened to that person but it took almost an hour for Tesla to kickstart the event. To be mentioned, the live stream began around 8 pm PT. Unfortunately, the actual presentation lasted only about 25 minutes.
Eventually, Musk led the show and revealed the new Cybercab and Robovan along with Optimus robot for visitors and people watching via broadcast.
Some people also assumed that the company had more to say about the products but somehow they wrapped up due to the late start. However, there’s no confirmation about this.
