Czech Republic’s National Development Bank subsidy for business owners and entrepreneurs is still open to claim on Tesla electric vehicles but it may run out soon.

Known as the Electromobility program, the subsidy helps businesses upgrade or renew their fleet to electric or hydrogen-powered vehicles and charging stations.

With this program, NDB provides financing contributions and guarantees that can be used for a preferential loan from a leasing company or commercial bank in the country.

This subsidy program applies to all sizes of businesses including:

  • Retail, wholesale, services
  • Banking and insurance
  • Cultural, entertainment, and recreational activities
  • and other fields

Interested business owners can benefit from this subsidy to buy one or multiple green energy vehicles. It also subsides used vehicles but requires the vehicle to be delivered within 6 months from the date of the first entry into operating and have driven less than 6,000 km.

Requirements

You must own a business to be eligible for this program. You must finance the vehicle using the leasing company with a minimum loan of 300,000 CZK for 12 months and must retain the vehicle for at least 24 months (2 years).

In this case, NDB will send the applicant 200,000 CZK.

However, the applicant must also arrange financing with a leasing company. The subsidy application will be sent for approval to the National Development Bank. Applicants need to wait as the bank approves the application. Once approved, the applicant can pay for the vehicle and pick it up.

You can fetch more information about this subsidy via Adrina Smrcek, Senior Sales Advisor at Tesla Czech Republic on his x account.
