Tesla reports 462,890 deliveries and 470,000 EV production in Q3 2024

Tesla has published Q3 2024 deliveries and production results for electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage products including yearly improvements in these segments.

The EV giant has produced approximately 470,0000 vehicles and delivered around 463,000 EVs through the past quarter. This figure includes 443,668 and 439,975 units of Model 3 and Model Y.

Other models in Q3 accounted for 26,128 production units and 22,915 delivery units. On the other hand, 6.9 GWh of energy storage products have been deployed through Q4 2024.

In the second quarter, the company produced 410,831 vehicles and delivered 443,956 units. That makes the third quarter performance even better than the previous. However, the energy storage product deployment has declined from 9.4 GWh in Q2.

Coming to the year-over-year (YoY) comparison, the Q3 2023 result shows that Tesla delivered 435,059 units and produced 430,488 units. That latest quarter also beats performance in both segments compared to last year.

Financial Results

Tesla will share its financial records for the third quarter of 2024 on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 after market close. The company will issue a brief advisory containing a link to the Q3 2024 update via its Investor Relations website.
