Tesla FSD 12.5.4.1: Here are the first impressions [Video]
Tesla has started to rollout FSD 12.5.4.1 for selected users and it comes with new improvements for Actually Smart Summon and Dumb Summon. Below you check the first impressions posted by X users after driving FSD 12.5.4.1.
“The first few drives were done with FSD v12.5.4.1- and overall it’s similar to 12.5.4. Noticed a few things improved that are welcome changes.
So far, zero disengagements for the past couple of hours. Have driven it from Santa Monica to Century City, to Brentwood, and back. The drives have gotten better since the first one as usual, but they’ve all been solid.
Have noticed the speed control is slightly better, driving quicker than before which is great but it still needs some work as a couple of times it required a pedal press to get close to/above the speed limit.
Amazing performance with an unmarked lane closure, no signs before as cones started to close in and the car reacted right away and changed both lanes to the right swiftly, and back to the left once they ended. Absolutely perfect behavior as I highlighted in the time lapse below.
Acceleration and braking were both great, strong acceleration which I prefer in assertive mode, and went +5 over the speed limit most times which was perfect, a few times it sat 5 below so some tweaks still needed.
ASS seems similar to before, but I need to test it during the day when there are busier lots – did well in my initial testing at the grocery store. Noticed when it aborts the braking is less jolty and a bit smoother. More to come tomorrow on this” wrote the user.
