Tesla announces referral contest to win Robotaxi event ticket

Tesla has announced a referral contest for its EV owners in the US and it could allow you to win a Robotaxi event ticket to join this unveiling in person.

Contestants need to send the referral link to anyone buying a new Tesla. two complete referrals will mark one entry. Each contestant could make a maximum of 5 entries. However, these referrals will only count if they’re made after August 24.

Tesla will announce referral contest winners on October 3 via mail or Tesla ID contact details. This activity is limited to US customers.

Last month, Tesla introduced a new referral program in North America. The core concept of the program remains unchanged. All you need to do is generate a referral link from your Tesla ID and share it with a buyer.

Once the buyer takes the vehicle’s delivery, both will be rewarded for participating in the referral program. The buyer will get $1000 off on a new model and the referrer will get $500 credit.

However, the buyer can only claim referral benefits on the first Tesla product purchase. Referrer on the other hand can use it up to 10 times a year. Furthermore, the program also brings loyalty purchase rewards.

Robotaxi

Tesla has a big event coming up on October 10, where it will reveal the first-ever Tesla Robotaxi product. So far, there are only a couple of tiny things revealed on this matter and the company is expected to uncover the design as well as key features of the car at the conference.

The unveiling was previously scheduled for August but delayed due to some design-related changes at the last moment. The EV maker could also share some new information about Full Self-Driving version 13 at the same stage.
