Watch Tesla Actually Smart Summon Demonstration Video
Tesla has released an official video demonstration of the actually smart summon feature to give us a rundown of what it goes through when the summon is activated.
Earlier today, Tesla rolled out a software update version 2024.27.25 with FSD 12.5.4 including improvements for a vision-based driver attention monitoring system.
However, the highlight of this rollout is Smart Summon and Dumb Summon. The former allows you to bring a Tesla to your location with a mobile app.
Once targeted, the car will drive automatically and try to avoid on-road obstacles. On the other hand, the dumb summon will allow you to move the car forward and back with on-screen app controls.
The video published online gives us a clear view of how the feature actually works. Smart summon is rolling for both HW3 and HW4 platforms. However, it’s only available to limited users and expand to more users in the coming weeks.
