SpaceX sent 20 Starlink satellites (13 DtC) to orbit via Falcon 9 rocket (September 20, 2024)

On September 20, 2024, SpaceX conducted a new Falcon 9 mission from California via a new Falcon 9 rocket with a payload of 20 Starlink satellites. It also includes 13 of these satellites with direct-to-cell capabilities.

Recently, the company launched the European Commission’s Galileo L13 satellites into orbit and completed its 90th mission of the year.

Falcon 9 for this Starlink mission lifted off from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

After separating from the second stage, the booster maintained its returning trajectory and landed on a droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

The first completed its 13th mission with this flight, which previously supported SDA-0A, Transporter-11, SARah-2, and nine Starlink missions.
