Apple kicks off iPhone 16 Series pre-orders
On September 13, 2024, Apple started iPhone 16 series pre-orders in the US and around the globe. You can reserve one unit and get it in the initial deliveries. The first sales of these devices are slated for September 20th.
Here are the prices for the four variants listed for pre-sale:
iPhone 16
- iPhone 16 (128GB) is priced at $799
- iPhone 16 (256GB) is priced at $899
- iPhone 16 (512GB) is priced at $1099
iPhone 16 Plus
- iPhone 16 Plus (128GB) is priced at $899
- iPhone 16 Plus (256GB) is priced at $999
- iPhone 160 Plus (512GB) is priced at $1199
iPhone 16 Pro
- iPhone 16 Pro (128GB) is priced at $999
- iPhone 16 Pro (256GB) is priced at $1099
- iPhone 16 Pro (512GB) is priced at $1299
- iPhone 16 Pro (1TB) is priced at $1499
iPhone 16 Pro Max
- iPhone 16 Pro Max (256GB) is priced at $1199
- iPhone 16 Pro Max (512GB) is priced at $1399
- iPhone 16 Pro Max (1TB) is priced at $1599
These new iPhones are available via Apple’s online shop and Stores. The company also offers delivery and pickup options at the local store.
Customers can trade in their old iPhones for new pre-orders and can get from $180 to $650 in credit for iPhone 12 and later models. This credit expands to $1,000 if a customer selects carrier promotion with iPhone 16 Pro.
To pre-order an iPhone online, go to shop and select a model. Configure it with color and storage or any other services that you may want to get with it. Once finalized, choose your payment method including financing, and confirm the pre-order.
Apple unveiled these new devices at the ‘It’s Glowtime’ event on September 9 and it comes with several new changes and upgrades over the previous series.
These four models use new A18 and A18 Pro chipsets for performance and AI capabilities. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max come with new 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays respectively. These iPhones have new camera controls and photography/videography improvements.
iPhone 16 lineup is promoted with Apple Intelligence, a suite of generative AI features. However, these won’t be available during pre-order or sale. Read more below.
