Tesla is now releasing autopark feature for Cybertruck electric truck and it’s coming with a new software update version 2024.32.5.

Two weeks ago, Cybertruck received a park assist feature, which allows this large EV to assist the driver while parking. However, providing an autopark upgrade is something entirely different from only assistance.

After the upgrade, Cybertruck can automatically park (including parallel parking) in parking spaces. While driving at low speed, the in-car display will highlight available parking spots.

You can tap on a spot highlighted with the “P” symbol, showing a possible available space. The system can show you numerous parking places on both sides of the vehicle.

Stop the vehicle, press Start, and release the steering wheel to initiate auto park. Similar to autopark in other Tesla models, Cybertruck owners also need to be attentive during the parking process and cancel when required. You can press the brake or take control of the steering wheel to cancel auto parking.

This is a vision-based feature, which means you will see the camera feed alongside a computing visualization for better monitoring.

Cybertruck is a unique stainless steel-built electric pickup truck with 223.7-inch length, 70.5-inch height, and 95-inch width. This massive vehicle weighs more than 6,600 lbs  (based on model).

Although Cybertruck comes with different onboard cameras but autopark will enable a whole new experience for the user with a new level of simplicity.

Furthermore, the company has also announced a plan to rollout FSD 12.5 for Cybertruck, which could happen sometime this month.
