Tesla expands Referral program to Europe

Tesla has expanded its referral program to Europe for new and existing customers to unlock benefits in the UK, France, Germany, and other markets.

Last month, Tesla launched a new referral program for owners and new buyers in the US and Canada. Earlier this year, the EV maker announced a shutdown of the previous referral program to launch a new one.

To start this up, you need to share a referral link with your friends and earn credits when your friend purchases a product for the first time.

To generate a referral link, go to the mobile app, tap on the menu (top right corner), select “Refer and Earn”, tap Recommend Now, select the contact you want to recommend to Tesla and send the referral message.

Once the order is placed, the referral credit will show as pending and will be credited after delivery. The earned referral credit will expire 12 months after being issued to the referrer’s account.

Referrer credits are available up to ten times per calendar year when a friend uses your referral link to purchase the first Tesla. The referrer will get 500 euros worth of credit per referral.

On the other hand, when a buyer purchases a new Tesla with a referral link and has never owned a Tesla before. You can earn Buyer Credits by following these steps:

  • Go to the provided referral link
  • Purchase the qualifying Tesla product of your choice using the referral link.

This credit is available to claim for once when you use the referral link to purchase the first Qualifying Product. Buyers will get 1000 euros off on their first purchase.

On the other hand, you can earn loyalty rewards up to ten times throughout the account’s lifetime while purchasing a second or additional product. You can also redeem credit earned from the previous referral program.
