New iPhone 16 Pro Gold color will stand out among all: Gurman

Apple will return a new Gold color with iPhone 16 Pro models and stand out among all other color options available with the Pro lineup says Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

Gurman said the new color will have more details than the one leaked in early renders but he didn’t say anything specific.

Apple has been releasing gold iPhones for years and played with different materials to make this color look appealing. However, the color faded last year when a new titanium design made its debut.

iPhone 15 Pro models have titanium all around but only in four colors – white, grey, blue, and black titanium.

These limited color options are directly related to the material. With a year of research and development, Apple may have struck some new polishing technique to launch a new color.

Apple has officially announced that the iPhone 16 series will launch on September 9 at “it’s Glowtim” event at Steve Jobs Theater.
