New Tesla Model Y rumored to launch in the first quarter of 2025

Tesla could launch the new Tesla Model Y in the first quarter of 2025 according to a new report coming from China.

Tesla Model Y is the most popular electric vehicle (EV) and it keeps increasing sales graph for the company. The introduction of the refreshed Model 3 has raised hope for a similar treatment for Model Y.

The new Model 3 brings several upgrades including sleeker headlights, an improved front deck, better aerodynamics improved performance, new taillights, and more. The EV’s interior has new changes including ambient lighting and rear passenger screen.

In April this year, Tesla brought a performance version with several new tweaks over its predecessor.

A report has also increased hype surrounding the Model Y refresh saying that the company has finalized the design phase and working on the production phase.

Since then, rumors and speculations have continued to appear about the new Model Y. However, it has become a cause of concern for the EV maker.

Tesla CEO, Elon Musk has already denied these reports and said Model Y Refresh won’t launch this year. He also said that the reports on this matter would hurt sales of the existing model.

Tesla also directed customer representatives to maintain full transparency over this matter about the Model Y launch in 2024.

The Chinese supply chain sources claimed that the EV maker planning to release two modified Model Ys by next year. Among these, it will bring a new model codenamed “Juniper”, which could be delivered in the first quarter of next year.

The seven-seater Model Y could be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The Juniper codename is related to the Model Y refresh but this report cannot be confirmed from official sources.
