It’s Official: iPhone 16 series launching on September 9

Next Apple Event is set for September 9 and the company will unveil its new iPhone 16 series devices to the consumers.

The invitation shared with media personnel shows a glowing Apple logo with a range of colors with the theme “It’s Glowtime”. The color combination id identical to the “Apple Intelligence” powered Siri voice assistant.

Despite suspense, the iPhone maker has confirmed that the new Apple Event will happen at Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park and timing will be morning 10:00 a.m. PT. The invitations are directed to a specific person and cannot be transferred to another. Therefore, not everyone will be receiving them.

Interestingly, Apple chose to unveil the new iPhones a day before speculated September 10. So, it will be Monday, while the iPhone 15 series launched on Tuesday.

This year’s iPhone lineup will also bring four models including a standard, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max variants. Despite looking like the previous variants, the company will make notable changes in the respective categories.

For instance, the standard variant will offer a new rear design with a vertically integrated camera design. However, it will maintain the dual lens system.

On the other hand, the company will use two new display sizes for the Pro and Pro Max variants. The Pro model will now equip 6.3-inches and the Pro Max will offer 6.9-inches.

These are different from the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch used in iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. In other words, the company is reportedly breaking the parral line between standard and Pro variants.

The Cupertino-based tech giant has introduced some new features that iOS 18 and iPhone 16 series will offer them out of the box. Additionally, the lineup will help users experience new generative AI features.

Certainly, the company has a few more devices to showcase including the Watch Series 10 and new AirPods. However, we’ll have to explore more details at the launch date.
