Apple has released iOS 18 beta 7 for developers to provide early features and facilitate app development. Apple unveiled iOS 18 at WWDC 24 and started testing this software with the first preview software.

Since then, iOS 18 has seen 6 prior developer beta releases to date and these softwares has added numerous new features.

You can download the latest iOS 18 beta by entering the Settings menu and General, followed by the Software Update section. You can check the latest software build released over the air (OTA).

The changelog doesn’t differ from the last rollout but there might be some hidden features that need to be explored.

iOS 18 comes with new changes in the user interface including a redesigned control center with added new customizations. You can also change the appearance of the home screen with new icon colors as well as sizes.

You can increase the safety and privacy of your installed apps with the required Face ID. On the other hand, New changes in the messages app make your conversation interesting with new reactions and other options.

Furthermore, the app gallery, notes, and other pre-installed apps have received new capabilities to simplify interactions and ease of access to the onboard content.

The company has also designed some generative AI features but these will only be limited to iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max, and 16 series devices.

Features such as AI writing tools, generative image generation, and advanced Siri voice assistant are part of this AI package. However, Apple will release them with iOS 18.1 and not the base version.
