Earlier today, Tesla released FSD 12.5 for customers and it comes with new improvements but users began to notice that there’s no end-to-end on the highway experience.

I also wondered whether the company released fast enough with this first 12.5 update. However, that’s not the case and I observed up to the mark.

Ashok Elluswamy from Tesla Autopilot and AI department confirmed that end-to-end on the highway is coming in the next 12.5.x rollout.

It means that the company has not released the latest combined stack with the initial 12.5 rollout. Testing could be the key reason for this delay, which needs to be done before the new improvements go public. Therefore, we’ll have to wait for a new version to drop out. A combined city and highway stack will drastically improve the driving experience.

Moreover, the new version does not bring sunglass support for the vision-based driver monitoring system. This improvement will also follow with the 12.5 rollout. Still, there’s no information available about a rollout for Cybertruck.
