Tesla has started sending emails to Cybertruck owners about Cyber Wheel Covers and off-road light bar. These two accessories were promoted alongside the electric pickup truck but unfortunately, the company has to change plans with their release.

“Your vehicle is in the queue to receive the Cybertruck Cyber Wheel covers and Off-Road Light Bar.” mentions the email. The email comes as an update and confirms that a notification will rollout as soon as the product is available at the owner’s nearby service center. To be mentioned, the notification will appear in the Tesla mobile app.

The truck was unveiled with hexagonal wheel covers accentuating the sharp angles of the vehicle to improve the aerodynamics. However, the cover started causing tire wear due to some design issues. The electric car maker has brought shorter spoke to resolve the problem.

Off-road light bar on the other hand serves as an option but due to regulations, Tesla cannot install the light bar. However, the company integrated its controls into the vehicle. With that, Cybertruck owners can even install the light bar by themselves.

Last week, Tesla updated its service manual and added instructions to install the light bar including steps to apply a blackout film to comply with regulations.
