How to download iOS 18 Public Beta

on

Apple has released the iOS 18 public beta program and you can download the latest test build on your phone to experience the newest features ahead of a full-fledged release.

This new software has new changes in the user interface and functionality segment including the control center, home screen, iMessage, and more. Unlike the developer version, the public beta enables all eligible iPhone users to enroll in this activity. There are no caps or requirements on test slots.

Still, any beta version is an under-development software. You can experience errors or inaccurate features, which may not work properly compared to your existing iOS version. Therefore, it’s important to back up your device before you jump into the public beta enrollment.

You can create a backup using Time Machine and restore it if anything goes wrong during the test session. It’s recommended to install beta on a secondary device, which will keep your data unharmed from any bug or glitch.

  • Note: You must have a valid Apple ID to register for beta testing. If you do, then sign in and jump to the next step.
