Tesla remains a market leader in Europe including Germany and other countries, which accounts big for EV sales. According to the data revealed by IEA, new electric car registrations in Europe reached nearly 3.2 million in 2023 with 20 percent year-over-year increase.

Among these, Germany has become the third country after China and the US to account for half a million new battery electric car registrations in a year. That includes 18 percent sales from battery electric and 6 percent from hybrid.

To keep its edge on the market and demand, Tesla continues to slash and increase the prices of its vehicles around the globe. That way, the company has improved its recent outlook by posting a good increase in deliveries for the second quarter of this year.
