Tesla FSD 12.4.3 appears amid 12.4.2 public release

Tesla is rolling out Full Self-Driving (FSD) 12.4.3 to some users. This version comes after the public release of 12.4.2 with new improvements.

X social media users confirmed the new version is now available with firmware 2024.15.15. The firmware note consists of Vision-based attention monitoring and FSD Supervised. Unfortunately, there’s not much to reveal about the new features and optimizations.

It has been only a few days since the company staged 2024.15.10 software with FSD v12.4.2. Therefore, this new roll out poses a question of whether the company has suspended the previous build to release a new one.

X account @Teslascope said version 12.4.2 is apparently paused and 12.4.3 will come for a wide audience. The firmware watcher said this new version is likely to get mainstreamed for all users rather than the 4.2. The shared screenshot also suggests that the version may not be limited to employees.

The 12.4.2 comes with new improvements in the driving experience. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla said the new computing training has created some imbalance between the driving experience and interventions improvements.

The upgrade also brings minor tweaks to the cabin camera for enhanced Vision based driver monitoring system cars with a camera in the cabin. Users have yet to report a wide 12.4.3 rollout. However, Tesla may have been preparing this move for next week.
