Tesla delivered 443,956 EVs in the second quarter of 2024
Tesla has published the second quarter of 2024 business report including 443,956 deliveries and 410,831 electric vehicles (EVs) production.
During this quarter, the company deployed 9.4 GWh of energy storage products, which is the highest so far. In the first quarter, it deployed 4,053 MWh of energy storage products.
Among the EV sales, the company accounted 422,405 deliveries of Model 3 and Y and produced 386,576 units. Other models account for 24,255 production and 21,551 units of deliveries.
Compared to this, the company delivered 466,140 EVs in the second quarter of last year alongside 479,700 units of production. Both production and delivery have been declined on a year-on-year basis.
Last quarter, Tesla delivered 386,810 EVs and produced 433,371 cars, which suggests that the company has achieved a quarter-on-quarter delivery increment.
It is announced that the financial results for the second quarter of 2024 will be posted on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. The electric vehicle (EV) company will also hold a live question and answer session on the same day at 4:30 p.m. Central Time (5:30 p.m. Eastern Time) to discuss earning and business results.
