Rivian delivered 13,790 electric vehicles (EVs) in the second quarter (Q2) of 2024 and produced 9,612 units in the same quarter. The carmaker has announced that these results were in line with its expectations and is still projecting 57,000 total deliveries by the end of 2024.

This year has been quite a challenge for Rivian. Aside from the sales, the company has restructured its manufacturing facility and made it more efficient. Earlier this year, Rivian introduced R2 and R3 series EVs that will go into production next year.

Compared to the current statistics, Rivina delivered 12,640 vehicles in the second quarter of 2023 and produced 13,992 units. The deliveries are almost identical on an annual basis but the production has declined by big numbers.

In Q1 2024, the Normal Illinoise-based firm delivered 13,588 vehicles and produced 13,980 units. The delivery section remained stable in this quarter as well.
