Tesla is sending Full Self-Driving (FSD) 12.4.2 to public users with intervention improvements for a better and safer driving experience via new firmware. The rollout comes after the version is released first to employees.

A number of prominent FSD user accounts have posted the release screenshots on social media site X (formerly Twitter). The new version follows a series of changes in this self-driving technology in the 12.4 branch.

The 12.4.2 comes with firmware 2024.15.10 and you can download it as soon as it appears in notifications. However, this is a staged rollout, which means the software will expand gradually for all FSD subscribers.

FSD (Supervised) v12 upgrades the city-streets driving stack to a single end-to-end neural network trained on millions of video clips. It replaces manual codes and instructions and adopts new driving scenarios without computing constraints.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any additional features mentioned in the changelog. However, customers can explore the version and find out what’s new in the intervention segment. Read more below.
