Rivian ‘Launch Mode’ event will showcase R2, R3, and R3X on July 10

Rivian is hosting a “Launch Mode” event on July 10, 2024, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm PDT and it will showcase the company’s latest electric vehicles (EVs) to the visitors. The event will be organized at Pacific Raceways, 31001144th Ave SE Kent, WA 98042.

“We are so excited to host our Northwest community for an evening of food, fun, connection, and celebration,” wrote Rivian.

The company will bring its second generation of R1T and R1S vehicles for visitors to experience in person. You can also check R2, R3, and R3X, the next-gen Rivian EVs.

These three models were introduced in March this year and are based on a second-generation vehicle platform. R2 for instance will drive the purchase cost to $45,000, almost half the price of the R1T and R1S. Despite early unveiling, all three cars will be sold in 2026 and the following year.

Furthermore, the 2024 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb version of R1T will also be joining this event. A few days ago, this model participated in the hill climb and broke its previous record by 30 seconds. The company has specially tuned this quad-motor 2024 R1T for the climb with 1025 horsepower and 0-60 in 2.5 seconds.

The Normal Illinoise-based EV maker is bringing a pop-up Gear Shop, a new travel kitchen, and other visitor activities for the family. Furthermore, there will be a drag race for your entertainment.
