On June 27, 2024, SpaceX launched 23 Starlink satellites via Falcon 9 reusable rocket to low-Earth orbit to expand Starlink’s global connectivity. The liftoff was conducted from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida in the morning.

The company confirmed good weather before proceeding with this launch preparations, unlike the previous week’s halt due to bad weather. A few days ago, SpaceX fired two new Falcon 9 missions with new Starlink and 13 direct-to-cell satellites.

Post-stage separation, the Falcon 9 first stage landed on a droneship with a record 22 launches. This new achievement for the booster comes as the company is looking to improve the reusability factor for Falcon 9 and take it up to 40.

The same booster previously supported GPS III Space Vehicle 04, GPS III Space Vehicle 05, Inspiration4, Ax-1, Nilesat 301, OneWeb Launch 17, ARABSAT BADR-8, and 14 Starlink missions.
