Entry level Polestar 3 EV launches with single-motor

The Polestar 3 electric vehicle is now available as a long-range single-motor variant in Europe. The company also revealed a plan to expand this version to other markets. This entry-level Polestar 3 uses a 111 kWh battery pack, identical to the dual motor version.

It supports 250 kW top charging for 10-80 percent recharge in 30 minutes. The new model now has three versions:

The new long-range single motor brings 650 km WLTP driving range, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.8 seconds, and 180 km/h top speed. The car is listed in six colors one of them is free and the rest are paid. That includes:

  1. Magnesium (free)
  2. Snow
  3. Thunder
  4. Jupiter
  5. Midnight
  6. Space

Customers will get an option to upgrade equipment packages with Pilot-Package, Pilot package with LiDAR, Plus package, Pro Package, and Performance-package. The new variant brings 20-inch aero wheels by default but also 21-inch Plus/Pro and 22-inch Sport/Performance wheels available in the configurator.

The new single-motor long-range Polestar 3 estimated delivery stands between February to March 2025. Furthermore, you can also book a test drive for this Polestar 3 before you book a model for yourself.

The EV maker has confirmed that this new Polestar 3 will expand to Australia and North America in late 2024. The company also build this new version in the U.S.
