SpaceX launches 22 Starlink satellites from Florida (June 23, 2024)
On June 23, 2024, SpaceX launched a new Falcon 9 rocket mission with 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This latest mission comes as the company adds new Starlink satellites to its constellation.
Starlink provides satellite internet service for consumers in remote areas and the company also provides services for commercial and government agencies. With this mission, the first stage completed its 11th flight and previously supported Crew-6, mPOWER-B, USSF-124, and seven other Starlink missions. After stage separation, the booster landed on a droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
