“The new Quad is ready to deliver the speed and precision handling that the Race to the Clouds demands,” wrote Rivian. The EV maker will start its turn at 2024 Pikes Peak racing on June 23, 2024, from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm in Colorado.
Gardener Nichols will handle the R1T Refresh at this year’s Pikes Peak and for the second time. This year’s 102nd Running of the Broadmoor Pikes International Hill Climb is sponsored by Gran Turismo in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Earlier this month, Rivian refreshed R1T and R1S models with new refinements and a signature style dual LED bar. The R1T refresh comes with dual, tri, and quad motor configurations but different battery sizes up to 400 miles of battery range.
The dual and tri-motor variants are available for order but the quad-motor version is only open for reservations with deliveries in 2025.
