Tesla launches Model Y Air Mattress for $225

Tesla has introduced a new air mattress for Model Y electric vehicle (EV) in the U.S. priced at $225. This accessory makes camping more comfortable for people who want to rest inside the car.

The design revealed by the company shows a perfect fit across the inner structure of the Model Y when the passenger seats and the trunk remain flat. This air mattress has dimensions of 74.4 inches wide, 50.4 inches tall, and 3.12 inches thickness.

That sums up a good car camping experience for customers but the height might not be sufficient for tall people expecting a home-like bed. Still, its three-inch high-density foam filling can create a soft landing pad. Meanwhile, the exterior is made of waterproof polyester for durability and smooth feeling.

You can inflate the mattress with the air pump (Included) and deflate it. Once deflated, the mattress is designed to fit in the vehicle’s rear well. The product package includes an air mattress, a carry bag, an air pump, a pump adapter, and two repair patches.

Customers are advised to use the air pump for first inflation due to product compression for transportation. To order this accessory, you need to sign in to the Tesla shop and add it to the cart, followed by the checkout.

Further information shows that the product’s operating temperature is 0-140 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s advised not to leave the mattresses inside the car for long periods during hot temperatures.
