SpaceX launches 14th Falcon 9 mission of May 2024

SpaceX Falcon 9 Lifting Off from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida

On May 31, 2024, SpaceX launched its 14th and final mission of this month via Falcon 9 reusable space vehicle to deliver 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit. This month’s launch schedule included three customer payloads and 11 Starlink missions.

Liftoff and Landing

SpaceX lifted off the 14th mission of this month from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The weather remained highly favorable for this liftoff.

Not only mission, but it was also the 14th flight for the first stage booster and previously supported CRS-26, OneWeb Launch 16, Intelsat IS-40e, O3b mPOWER, Ovzon 3, EUTELSAT 36D, and 8 Starlink missions including the latest. Post-separation, the booster maneuvered back to Earth and landed on a droneship.
