China’s IM Motors signed a strategic partnership with electric vehicle (EV) maker NIO to collaborate on charging networks for car users.

The collaboration will have full access to NIO Power’s charging network with charging services. Starting May 30, IM Motors users will be able to access locations, rates, status, availability, and other information on chargers across China.

“With this smart experience covering the full journey from finding a charger to paying for charging, users’ recharging experience will be fully elevated with higher efficiency,” wrote Nio on social media site X.

Earlier this month, NIO also partnered with GAC on charging network and swapping technology in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in China.
