Here are the Tesla FSD 12.3 (Supervised) Highlights
Tesla is working on FSD 12.4 version for customers but the 12.3 series already has numerous improvements to the system prior to this upcoming release. And, it seems the right time to watch some of the biggest highlights of Tesla FSD 12.3 (Supervised).
Navigating Construction Zone
FSD has achieved attentive drive-through on-road construction sites. It can detect a lane block and procedural signs to merge lanes when required while avoiding any collision with the upcoming traffic on the same lane.
The neural network makes it simple and assures that the lane transition remains smooth.
FSD 12.3.6 vs road works.
This was quite impressive!
Going up this hill, there were road works causing my lane to be closed. Workers were there with signs indicating when we could move.
Without hesitation, FSD put the indicator on and went around onto the other side, cleared the… pic.twitter.com/uazXrd8diN— Darryn Appleton (@DrTeslaFSD) May 16, 2024
Busy Turn
In this clip, FSD makes a turn on a busy road filled with pedestrians while tracking them crossing the road in groups. The system waits as the pedestrian makes a move and looks for an opportunity to complete the turn.
The car approaches slowly and remains alert while driving through the road with pedestrians on both sides. It also stays active to see if a pedestrian is unaware of the FSD car and stops when required.
How many pedestrians can FSD track simultaneously?
All of them.LA is nothing like Manhattan but we have this little area of town that gets super busy with tourists and a great test for FSD at low speed negotiation around pedestrians and traffic. The key for success is to always… pic.twitter.com/ASWWA0T3Ru

Awareness
When the car is driving on acceleration, the system remains aware of the road, hazards, and traffic to make quick decisions.
Thank you @Tesla and @elonmusk for #FSD v12.3.4 — avoiding hazards, oncoming traffic, merging in/out of lanes. Insanely good. Human. pic.twitter.com/PS8gnkxeSp

Road Etiquette
FSD 12.3.x allows other drivers, waiting to make a turn, to proceed on the road while waiting for the car to come forward. This situation avoids confusion with the human driver.
Navigating through heavy traffic in my Tesla Model X with FSD (Supervised) v12.3.4 today, my car showed impeccable manners, stopping to let a fellow driver pass. A true example of how technology can enhance road etiquette! pic.twitter.com/0iQFbg5iQc

Avoiding collision
Traffic signal malfunction could cause a major disaster if it doesn’t work the way it should. This situation has been avoided when an incoming car makes a turn and FSD waits for the car to pass through.

Guys can we get Lubbock Traffic control on X! Would make reporting much easier!

Real-time adjustments
The FSD computer can make real-time adjustments while making a turn to avoid collision or stoppage due to a vehicle or obstacle parked up front.
Nothing to see here.
Just a robot car making a left at a light and calmly driving over a double yellow line avoiding a garbage truck.
No other car you can buy is capable of anything close to this.

Safe Distance
FSD has increased safety measures for pedestrians, in a video clip, the car shows to give adequate space to pedestrians.
