It offers a unified dashboard for fleet managers to view vehicle data and observe key insights to optimize fleet performance and improve experience.

Rivian currently has two commercial electric vans EDV 700 and EDV 500 and the company also offers commercial R1S and R1T vehicles for customers. The new integration won’t require additional hardware or installation. It helps to maintain the costs and increase uptime for better efficiency.

Brandon Blumber, Director of Business Development at Rivian said the company has developed a software-defined vehicle and has access to attributes and analytics that simply do not exist in the industry today.

He anticipates that Rivian and Geotab strategic partnerships will enable commercial customers to leverage this data, insights, and analytics to increase fleet uptime and optimize vehicle performance. It will help to reduce the total cost of ownership – all without the need for additional hardware on the vehicle.

Information reveals that Geotab offers connected vehicle and asset solutions, data analytics, and AI to enhance fleet performance, safety, and suitability while optimizing costs.
