Expansion
Hyundai Motor announced its hydrogen vision by introducing the U.S. hydrogen commercial vehicle business. This will expand the hydrogen commercial value chain across North America. Earlier this year, Hyundai introduced the expansion HTWO hydrogen fuel cell system brand into Hyundai Motor Group’s hydrogen value chain business brand.
Last year, the company supplied 30 deployed 30 XCIENT fuel cell trucks at the Port of Oakland and Port of Richmond to haul freight containers and vehicles. It is revealed that Hyundai will build a hydrogen commercial mobility value chain that goes beyond vehicle sales and includes hydrogen supply and charging station construction, leasing, financing, and maintenance services.
Furthermore, the automaker will introduce HTWO logistics solutions to HMGA in Georgia. It plans to supply XCIENT hydrogen-electric trucks to build a hydrogen commercial value chain system for transporting parts and finished vehicles.
