EV Connect and BP Pulse announces new fleet management solution
EV Connect and BP Pulse have announced a collaboration to launch Omega, Electric Vehicle (EV) charge management software from BP Pulse to the EV Connect platform.
This platform is designed to fulfill charging requirements and duty cycles of EV fleets. Omega has a charging management solution integrates with EV Connects charging management technology.
This new integration enables fleet operators to focus on their business while Omega maintains charging schedules and prioritizes charging based on requirements. It provides real-time insights for decision making, charging at depots and on the way or at driver homes.
The collaborative solution helps operators get better access to charging infrastructure and reduce costs in energy consumption with vehicle-friendly optimizations. Talking further about the benefits, Omega optimizes cost-effecting charging for fleets and EV Connect focuses on managing financial transactions for commercial fleets.
That includes fleet operations in which drivers bring vehicles home, requiring private chargers with simple reimbursement options. With the combined capabilities of these two platforms, fleet operators can expect improved efficiency for a better charging experience for the entire fleet.
“By integrating our platforms, we can offer a comprehensive management solution that caters to fleet operators looking to optimize electric fleet efficiency like never before,” said Jon Leicester, Vice President and Head of Commercial at EV Connect.
EV Connect provides tools to build, run, and scale EV charging businesses successfully. Bp pulse on the other hand is an electric vehicle (EV) charging business rolling charge points to consumers and commercial fleets globally.
