Apple iOS 17.5.1 rolling with deleted photo resurfacing bug fix
Apple is rolling out the iOS 17.5.1 software update for iPhone users and it comes with a new fix for a rare issue which resurfacing deleted photos.
Last week, Apple released the iOS 17.5 update with new features and Europe-specified capabilities for an open app ecosystem. However, it also brought a new bug which is quite surprising.
The changelog addresses bug fixes for this rare issue where photos that experienced database corruption could reappear in the Photos library even if they were deleted. The explanation raises a question on data safety and how it could make photos reappear after years of deletion.
iPhone users facing this photo issue can download the latest software update via Settings > General > Software update.
