This prototype has new parking sensor placement areas and a fresh bumper, especially on the bottom side. The car’s interior is fully blacked out with the camouflage, suggesting new technologies including a refreshed infotainment system.

This model was captured with aero wheels similar to the IONIQ 5 N. There might not be a major difference between the powertrain of this new model and the existing ones. However, we can expect fine-tuning in motor efficiency and increased battery capacity for extended driving range.

New IONIQ 5

Last month, Hyundai revealed an enhanced IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 5 N lineup with new upgrades including a battery capacity upgrade from 77.4 kWh to 84 kWh. The exterior includes a refined V-shape garnish and optimized front and rear bumpers.

Its length increased by 20mm to 4,655mm, while width, height, and wheelbase remained unchanged. The new car comes with a 50mm extended rear spoiler for better aerodynamics. The IONIQ 5 equips a new shock absorber to alleviate vibrations from the road for a smoother driving experience.
