It has been speculated that the company is preparing to launch a new competitor to Google search and will be featured with new AI capabilities. Over the past few months, OpenAI has partnered with a few publishers and said to improve its data collection methods and practices. The company wants to upgrade its data crawling standards with new source citations shortly.

However, OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman has denied this speculation and said the company will not release any search engine on Monday.

People online speculated that the company will unveil a GPT-5 but President Greg Brockman said that the company will not release GPT-5 this time. However, the event will bring some live demonstrations of the new product and updates.
