Watch SpaceX 23 Starlink Satellites Launch Mission (May 6, 2024)
On Monday, May 6, 2024, SpaceX launched a new Falcon 9 rocket mission carrying 23 Starlink Satellites from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
The launch vehicle lifted off at 2:14 p.m. and weather in Florida was clear to support the mission as it ascended through the sky. This was the third Starlink mission and fourth overall mission of this month.

The rapid launch of new Starlink satellites aims to improve connectivity for global consumers and commercial customers. After separating from the second stage and sending the payload into the upper atmosphere, the first stage maneuvered to land on a droneship.

The first stage booster landed on the droneship at about 8:20 minutes in the mission time after the short landing burn followed by landing leg deployment. The mission completes the 16th flight for the first stage. The payload deployment was confirmed after 60 minutes of launch time.
