Kia teases New EV6 with design refresh

South Korean car maker Kia has teased a new EV6 electric vehicle (EV) with a design refresh on the front and the rear side. The front carries a new headlight bar with an angular shape similar to the previous concept cars, more in line with the Kia EV3 concept. However, it varies from the existing EV6 model.

The front also appeared to slightly uplifted in comparison to the EV6 model. It could be due to the changes made to the bumper and the front fascia.

The rear side carries trimmed blinkers and taillight bar on the rear gate. Previous information suggests that Kia will also make new changes in the rear bumper and the wheels.

In particular, Kia applied daytime running lights (DRL) that reflect the new family look ‘Star Map Signature Lighting’ to the New EV6 for a more dynamic and future-oriented feeling.

“The new EV6 is back sleeker and cooler than ever before. Take a sneak peek before its official release” wrote Kia in the teaser.

This model is expected to release this year but a specific date is yet to be announced.
