SpaceX Falcon 9 launches 46 Starlink satellites from Florida (April 18, 2024)

SpaceX has launched 46 Starlink satellites from Florida to low-Earth orbit over the last two days. These new satellites contribute to extended connectivity for global Starlink users.

April 17, 2024: 23 Starlink Launch

On Wednesday at 5:26 p.m. ET, Space X launched Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

This was the 12th flight for the first stage booster used for this mission.

The mission previously supported Crew-5, GPS III Space Vehicle 06, Inmarsat I6-F2, CRS-28, Intelsat G-37, NG-20, and now six Starlink launches.

April 18, 2024: 23 Starlink Launch

At 6:40 p.m., SpaceX launched 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

This flight counts seventh for the first stage, which previously launched ESA Euclid, Ax-2, Ax-3, CRS-30, and three Starlink missions.

The mission marks the 40th launch of this year. The footage for the landing was not uploaded by SpaceX but the company confirmed it via social media site X, formerly known as Twitter.
