Notes app might bring new voice memo and Math features with iOS 18

Apple is preparing a new upgrade for the Notes app with the upcoming iOS 18 operating system including a new voice memo and the app may also add new mathematics functionality.

AppleInsider reports that the Notes app in iOS 18 will enable users to record voice memos.

The current iOS version allows users to copy and paste recordings from the Voice Memos app into the Notes app for playback. This requirement to use a third-party app for recording would go away with iOS 18.

Another input from the publication reveals that the company would feature mathematical notation in the Notes app. However, the exact capabilities remain unknown at the moment.

iOS 18 will launch at Apple’s worldwide developer conference in June. The company has prepared several new AI-powered features for the operating system and will improve the user experience.
