Mercedes-Benz announced the 2025 EQS electric sedan with a revised front look, new upgrades to the system, and an improved battery for extended range.

Starting with the battery, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan features a 118 kWh battery pack. This is an improved capacity compared to the below 110kWh battery pack in 2024 EQS.

The new battery pack enables more driving range for better user experience. The new regenerative braking software enables energy recuperation in this model.

The carmaker says the brake discs in the EQS are used less often during regular driving compared to combustion engine models.

This change is contributed by the high proportion of recuperation with generative braking. It has a special tuning that maintains the brake system by automatically applying the pads to the discs over time.

Refined Grille:

This new model comes with a refined front deep black panel grille that connects with the headlights. The new EQS comes with a unique front fascia. The grille also includes flush-mounted chrome slats for contrast to the deep black surroundings.

Its climate control vents come with chrome accents on the B-Pillars. The rear passenger pillows are improved with contrast stitching and Nappa leather piping.

Better Rear comfort

Talking about the rear, the 2025 Mercedes Benz EQS sedan offers an optional Pinnacle Trim with an interior package feature. This package has a front seat that can fold forward to make additional room for second-row passengers.

It also adds a backrest for the rear seat that can be adjusted up to 38 degrees. This package also brings heating, neck and shoulder heating for rear passengers, and pneumatic adjustment of the rear seat depth.

The standard EQS sedan also shares these new comfort benefits. The angle of the rear seats can be adjusted from 27 to 36 degrees at the touch of a button and it added 0.2 inches of foam for additional rear seat backrest.
