Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous specs sheet reveals battery, wheel, and hardware details

An alleged specs sheet for Tesla Model 3 Performance (Ludicrous) is leaked online and it spotlights important details including the battery, wheels, and hardware of this upcoming EV.

The model will be equipped with a standard air filter and ambient lighting wrapped around the front deck to the rear gates. The feature was first introduced with Cybertruck and Tesla Model 3 2024.

It has Autopilot Hardware 4.0 with a base autopilot package. The company is shifting this technology with the car to support autonomous operations for Autopilot and FSD. In terms of sound, the Model 3 Performance has a premium immersive sound audio firmware option.

It brings premium mirrors with power folding, heated side mirrors, auto-dimming, and electrochromic technology. Tesla is using a performance chassis for this model which is designed for maximum stability and safety as well as weight reduction.

Battery

It is using a 2170L Panasonic battery pack with a higher energy density. This type of battery allows improved driving range in the vehicle. The battery may have been developed at a Nevada facility. The Model 3 Performance also brings a CATL 16V low-voltage battery for sub-systems.

Performance

The car comes with an active suspension. It has a 20-inch performance wheel with a 20-inch split-fit tire. Behind the wheels, there are red brake calipers. The car has a steering gear dual chip and a heated PUR heated round steering wheel.

The Model 3 Ludicrous will offer a 4DU (RDU) 950A rear motor which generates 406 horsepower compared to 3D1 with 298 hp in the previous Model 3 performance.

Internals

Tesla Model 3 Performance equips premium seats as we’ve seen in the past with bucket design as well as heating and venting features.
