SpaceX sends 22 Starlink satellites to orbit with March 18 Falcon 9 mission
On Monday, March 18, 2024, at 7:28 p.m. PT, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 mission to low-Earth orbit to deploy 22 Starlink internet satellites.
SpaceX launched its reusable rocket from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The weather was 80% favorable ahead of the flight alongside all functional systems.
This was the 10th Vandenberg launch and 27th of the overall Falcon 9 mission of the year. Other than these, the first stage booster also completed its 10th flight.
After supporting the second stage, the booster stage landed on a droneship in the Pacific Ocean and was processed to the nearest port.
This is another successful flight from SpaceX as it continues to increase its constellation. Check the liftoff and first stage landing below.
