Tesla CEO, Elon Musk said that full self-driving (FSD) Beta v12.4 will bring a new upgrade to system capabilities. The latest response from the Tesla chief came amid a wide v12.3 rollout.

With v12.4, Tesla aims to improve the training computing system. This will contribute to the driving model and allow the company to optimize the user experience. However, specific changes have not been revealed.

Since December, Tesla has been testing FSD Beta version 12 and it has made a new leap in its computing. One of these includes an upgrade over an end-to-end neural network.

The EV maker has used millions of video clips to train the FSD Beta 12 and removed around 300,000 lines of manual code. Tesla could empower the FSD model in this new “self-learning” environment.

The past builds in the series also provide key insights into the driving experience and it has better platform stability.

Before version 12.3,  FSD v12 remained limited to Tesla employees and a group of selected beta testers, while early reviews suggest that it is way more intelligent than v11.

FSD v12 can identify the on-road objects and traffic better than the V11. The new version also has a sense of braking and acceleration.

The car company is conducting a wide v12.3 rollout. This is allowing testers to share their experience and most of them are quite positive.

The new version also carries a few bugs such as confusion while parking in certain situations. This bug should be addressed with the next rollout.
